Wasteland Empire

So you've decided that you want to build an empire. Maybe the NCR expansion sounds like a concept you can get behind. Maybe you long to conquer the Wasteland as a minion of Caesar's Legion. Perhaps Mr. House is the sort of corporate oversight you believe is best. Or maybe you've decided to take the reins yourself and rule alone. With Wasteland Empire, you can do any of these things.

First Things First

First, you need to create a command center.

RTS stuff? Who knows?

Annexation for Fun and Profit

Faction Power Struggles

At the beginning, each Faction has a power level assigned to it - you can modify this using the cheat options if you desire. The more power a particular faction has, the more likely you are to see encounters with them roaming, and the stronger their forces within controlled areas.

Controlled Areas

Also at the beginning, specific zones are marked under the control of specific factions - for example, the Boomers run Nellis Air Force Base, and the NCR runs Camp MClarren.

Going Rogue

So you've decided that the only person who should hold power in a game you're playing is you, right? Well, depending on how you go about it, the existing factions probably won't take too kindly to being told off, especially if you were formerly empire-building for them. That said, that just makes life more interesting, right?

Community Support

One thing you can do to maintain communities is to make sure they are properly supplied - that the guards are properly equipped, the town has plenty of fresh food and clean water, and the population is thriving. Maybe take a few cues from Nipton Rebuilt - and possibly use that as a command center and example.
