Electrician
Job Type: Maintenance
You've been selected to work as an electrician,
and are responsible for repairing damaged or
hacked equipment and wiring, as well as
duplicating electronic and electrical equipment
using the station's fabricator, and building
and operating computer terminals. You are
expected to use these talents to provide
replacement machinery as needed for the other
crewmates, as well as to repair and maintain
the station.
Access: Engineering, Electrician's Lab,
Engineering Storage, Electrical Substation,
Tech Storage, Maintenance, APC Units.
As an Electrician, you are likely to be called
to repair wiring damaged by space debris,
negligence, wear and tear, accident, or even
maliciousness on the behalf of your fellow
crewmembers. You will also be called upon to
assemble machines to replace any that may be
lost due to aforementioned causes, by using
your handy device analyzer to analyze a
functional version, and then using your device
compiler to develop a schematic disk and
framework that you can then use to build a new
copy of the device in question.
Responsibility: Fix and Improve Machinery
You should never underestimate the importance
of your position aboard the station; your
workshop is responsible for the duplication of
practically any device that needs duplicating,
including airlocks, vending machines, meat
processors, radio headsets, and even the device
analyzer itself. Make sure that your device
compiler has all of the information it needs to
replace important ship components should
something unfortunate happen to them. You are
also expected to be an expert user of the
station terminals, so don't be surprised if
you're called to interface with one.
