Brief History: Preston Stevens was born to an average family in the 1963. He was very bright, and very well loved. When he was seventeen, he went to a party. He and his friends were drinking heavily. He decided to drive everyone home because he thought he was the least drunk of the bunch. The car ended up crashing, and injuring everyone inside. Preston made a deal in the hospital, and was soon an employee of Wolfram and Hart. He was sent to the best college, and the best law school in the area.

Soon, he was William Preston, and he was sent to live in Sunnydale. His orders were to tear things apart, so that the firm would have an easier time taking over the hellmouth.
