Brief History: Alexander Michael Daniels Jr. was born into relative obscurity in Saginaw, MI. His father was an electrical engineer, and his mother was a teacher. Alex was an only child, and always very quiet and uninvolved with the overwhelming world around him. He tended towards more solitary activities, like playing with blocks or reading a book, rather than socializing with the other children.

From an early age, Alex knew he was different from the other children. No one else he knew could tell things about people, know things that were about to happen. No one else could feel the feelings of people and things, whether he wanted to or not. As he grew, he found himself more and more unable to cope with the ability he'd been given.

Things Went Badly in a way he will not discuss or think about, leading to him being institutionalized at the age of twenty. He was then released, and brought to Sunnydale California by the OSI, who hoped to study and use his ability. He was assigned to a handler, Roni, and given a job as a busboy at The Stake House. He lives with his boyfriend Frankee in the OSI safehouse, Whitetail Grove apartments.
