In Character vs Out of Character

Now, then – what's in character and what's out of character? Simply put, if it's in #The_Loft or another designated OOC area, or just wrapped in double-parentheses - also known as OOC bubbles – it's OOC, or out of character. In short, it doesn't count towards character development – it's just players chatting to each other and having some fun. In character, likewise, is what's taking place in the actual play area. Pretty easy, yes?
