The Church of the Traveler is the major religion of Arcydea, currently in control of the largest combined territory, and are best described as ranking the sentient population as follows:

• High Masters and their moon elven descendants.
• Moon elves in general.
• Other elves.
• Most of the rest of the world.
• The immortals, whose powers they seek to steal.
• The gods, whose powers they seek to steal.

The Church of the Traveler pretends to focus on Arc, the Wanderer, but actually worships the creator god Nyx. They have a number of truly depraved behaviors, and actively work to crush hope and keep down innovation.
