Aspen Willowick

First Paladin and Champion of the Goddess of the Journey, Lieutenant Commander of the Knights of the Black Rose, The Knight in Violet

Aspen is a human woman, chocolate brown hair, pale skin, and a generous smattering of freckles. Her outfit is druidic inspired, with loose breathable fabrics, but also a steel breastplate and leather pauldrons, and often a violet greatcloak. She wears a pouch about her neck with a few holy symbols, typically tucked below her breastplate.

She is a kind and gentle paladin, raised by druids. She arrived over a year ago, wandering worlds and stumbling in, staying for a while, then longer. She volunteered for the Knights of the Black Rose, and has served with them in numerous battles, including the joust in the Land of Tales, the attack on Malone during the Fall Festival, the Battle of Silathra and the Siege of Jesterfield.

In peacetime, she is often found at the Malone shrine, visiting friends among the Malone guard, tending to the hospital garden, or sipping tea at the inn. When there is more tension in the world, she spends most of her time in Jesterfield, organizing training and patrols, or taking moments of respite on Silathra's deck, crow's nest, or the roof of the chalice.

Close friends with many people, notably Cassie, Sarah, Petra, Sheila, Amy, Elysia, and Sandra the Librarian.

  • You cannot get lost if you do not want to, even by magical means. Conversely, if you wish to get lost, you may within a minute. This grants you advantage on stealth checks to evade pursuers.
  • At higher levels, you gain a handful of spells you can cast, regardless of your spellcasting ability. You may cast each once per long rest. If you prepare spells, these spells do not count against your daily prepared spells. If you already know these spells, you may cast them once per long rest without using a spell slot.
