Legend of the Black Rose is several things.

• It is a homage to an ancient game known as Legend of the Red Dragon, created a very long time ago.
• It is a homage to an ancient era of text-based games with limited actions per day back when that was still cool.
• It is a homage to a world known as Arcydea, which has over 20 years of playtime and a fairly long history.
• It is a game that just never seems to go away, having been around in various incarnations for at least ten years.

Now that that's out of the way, let's start work.

The current version of Legend of the Black Rose is 0.0.3, Arcydean Cycle Edition. It is playable at http://labarc.com/blackrose/.
