Wal-Mart Inc.

Wal-Mart first got its start as a department store, but has since expanded into a multi-national corporation with its own production and manufacturing facilities throughout the world. Their primary focus is in the electronics and entertainment industry, and they are active lobbyists when it comes to 'family values', 'deregulation of industry', 'lowering unnecessary burdens on corporations' and strongly discourage union development. In 2105, they received strong media coverage for an incident in the Low Six where Wal-Mart Operations Center #4401A was stormed by armed 'loss prevention' officers who executed twenty-seven employees. Wal-Mart Inc. maintains that these employees were attempting to damage critical corporate infrastructure and were a threat to the safety of others. Surviving former employees maintain that a vote to unionize had just been passed unanimously, and that the 'loss prevention' officers were corporate thugs sent in to terminate the employment of those present and shoot anyone who did not immediately vacate the premises.
