As a security officer, you have the important

job of enforcing law and order aboard Maxwell

#13-(designator). You are responsible for

investigating reports of crimes aboard the

station, gathering evidence of crimes,

performing arrests when warrants are issued or

crimes are witnessed, escorting prisoners to

trial or incarceration, and defending the

station and its crew against any hostile

situation that may come up.

Access: Security, Brig

You will be responsible for maintaining tight

control over security equipment, ensuring that

crewmembers are not in possession of

unauthorized equipment, and preserving evidence

for trial. As such, it is important that a

security officer patrol headquarters at all

times, and other security officers patrol the

station to investigate possible suspicious

activity.

Responsibility: Preserve Order

You are responsible for preserving order and

are expected to respond to the Captain, Head of

Security, or Head of Personnel, as well as to

your fellow officers, in order to handle

threats to the station. You have access to the

security radio channel for this purpose, and

should also work in concert with the station's

AI, if available, to track down criminals and

threats. You are also expected to log incidents

of criminal activity into crewmembers' criminal

records and mark them for arrest so that

officers and security bots act appropriately if

you cannot detain them directly.
