It is fair to say that Eioan technology has a strong element of schizo to its technological innovations, as many elements are slightly futuristic compared to modern-day Earth (and elsewhere), but some areas are surprisingly lacking. Much of Eioan tech revolves upon a dependence on mana and alchemical developments, and there are 'mana chips' and 'psi chips' that allow various technological items to emulate magical spells and psionic powers while maintaining a modern user interface.
