Sunnydale OSI focuses on all aspects of the struggle for control of the regoin surrounding the Hellmouth. From the demonic haunt of Willy's Alibi to the containment cells of the Office for Subterranean Intelligence to the bright and shiny halls of Sunnydale High, everyone has a part to play. These are the stories which have been retold many times, and most characters who have been around since the beginning can tell most of these stories.
Some of the following information is NOT in-character knowledge outside a small circle. If there is any doubt in your mind as to whether your character knows about an ongoing or closed plotline, please ask a mod.

Kit Bothwell, a former Servator, was transferred to Sunnydale, bringing along Mariposa, a dog which had originally belonged to Kit's currently-deceased SIT, India. He was assigned to Sunnydale High as a Latin teacher. He first met Xavier Welch, history teacher and eagle, at the high school.
At UC Sunnydale, psychology professor Maggie Walsh was in charge of a strike team of OSI Initiative including: Tony and Tamara DeMarco, brother and sister; Nevada Lyle; and Riley Finn.
Meredith Delany discussed the merits of taking Latin over various other classes with her friend, Jordy Osborne.
Kaethe, a vampire, began hanging out at Willy's Alibi and spoke with Willy.
Michael Czajak met Dominica Marchese, cousin to Vito Marchese, and Mandy Smith, daughter of an undefined cosmic horror, outside of school before the first day of class. Juice Davis showed up as well, and discussed hairless cats and the horors inflicted on other students by jocks. Brittany Wakefield dropped by with her mindless drones to sneer at the losers, who were decidedly less than impressed.
Willow Rosenberg, Andrew Wells, and Xander Harris were all present for the first day of school.
George “Juice” Davis and his friend Ashton Kowalski discussed classes and hobbies.
A less-than-genuine Frenchman named Jacques was out-Frenched by a vampire who called herself Perdita.
Dawn Summers met Ashton Kowalski and they seem to hit it off.
Outside of Sid's Diner, a young con artist named Anna Caruso meets Vito Marchese, an associate professor from UC Sunnydale who offers her slightly more honest employment.
Rupert Giles arrived at Sunnydale High as head librarian and met a student by the name of Morrigan O'Grady.
Vito spoke with Anna again at Sid's, where he talked about his job, bought her lunch and offered to loan her a copy of the Decameron.
Kit Bothwell met Seraphine Hargrave, psychologist/guidance counselor at Sunnydale High and also an OSI researcher.
Clive Williamson, TA at UC Sunnydale, tried to hit up Tamara DeMarco for some T and A, but was rebuffed mercilessly.
Jody Osborne met Ming Xi, a Chinese exchange student who her family was hosting this year.
Vivian, a werewolf, eyed Jordy Osborne in a very predatory manner.
Seraphine gave guidance counselling to Juice Davis.
Tara Maclay met Dominica Marchese in the halls of Sunnydale High, and Nica offered an open invitation to Tara to hang out with her and her new friends at the Bronze.
Chanterelle, a student at Sunnydale High, met and was bedazzled by Kaethe, who gave her a ride home on a rainy day.
Ashton Kowalski met the tomboyish “TJ” Matthews in the cafeteria at Sunnydale High.
“Eric the Eagle” made the first Sunnydale High assembly much more entertaining than the students would have expected.
Meredith met Ming in the hallway of Sunnydale High, and it was established that TJ was a friend of Meredith's.
Morrigan O'Grady met MJ Carver at the Bronze, and they ended up leaving the club and spending the night together.
Jordy, TJ, Meredith and Ming had a bonfire on the beach.
Chanterelle hung out at the Sunset Club and talked to her friends, Michael Czajak and Juice Davis, about the odd incident with Kaethe.
MJ Carver … COACH MJ Carver … held his first Special Gym for young women in Sunnydale who had been identified by the OSI as potentials, thereby making them Slayers In Training, or SITs, though the details thereof are not divulged to the girls at the time. Most of the girls are annoyed, except for Morrigan O'Grady, who is mortified. The roster of SITs present that first day included Ming Xi, TJ Matthews, Chanterelle, Buffy Summers, Anna Caruso, Morrigan O'Grady, and Brittany Wakefield.
Marcus Orion and Remi Hunter met at the Bronze and discussed magic, whilst not quite having sex at their table.
Chanterelle spoke to a shy girl named Winter at Sunnydale High.
Nevada Lyle, Nica Marchese, Tony DeMarco, Mandy Smith, Vito Marchese, Anna Cariso, and Rachel Lee got to know each other to varying degrees at the Bronze.
Juice Davis, Brody Callahan, Michael Czajak, TJ Matthews, Ming Xi, Meredith Delany, Spike aka “William the Bloody”, Nica Marchese, Anna Caruso, Mandy Smith, Xavier Welsh, Savannah, and Vito Marchese hung out at the Bronze and got to know each other to varying degrees. By this point, Vito had convinced Anna to attend Sunnydale High and finish her high school education.
Kit Bothwell held his first Latin class, and present were Nica Marchese, Michael Czajak, Savvy Brown, and Anna Caruso.
Riley Finn and Nevada Lyle spoke at the UC Sunnydale Student Union, and Nevada described a vampire encounter that had left most of her team dead.
Tamara DeMarco, Riley Finn and Nevada Lyle discuss the incident again, and their respective recruitment into the OSI, at the OSI house.
Rachel Lee met with Martin Fischer, vice principal at Sunnydale High and highly ranked among the OSI Servator branch. They discuss the philosophy of the Watcher and Slayer relationship, and mention is made of the SITs training under MJ Carver, that no new Slayer has been called since the last one died. The next Slayer may be from among their number, or she may be from elsewhere. The outcome of Slayer selection is uncertain.
Michael Czajak and Ming Xi hung out at the Bronze, and Michael explained to her that he felt as if his life was cursed.
TJ met up with Dawn in the halls of Sunnydale High, and they stole coffee from the techer's lounge. It is revealed that Ashton Kowalski has given his phone number to Dawn.
Dawn Summers and Andrew Wells hung out at Weatherly Park and discussed Ashton Kowalski, and Latin, and Evil Dead.
Xavier Welsh held History class. Present are TJ Matthews, Meredith Delany, Juice Davis, Anna Caruso, and Nica Marchese.
Savvy Brown encountered Kayleigh, a succubus, in the UC Sunnydale bookstore. There is inappriate touching, but succubi don't knowingly engage in appropriate touching, so this is as expected.
The OSI Servators met, and Rupert Giles handed out assignments. Present and {assigned SITs} were Vito Marchese {Anna Caruso, via trade}, MJ Carver {Brittany Wakefield}, Kit Bothwell {TJ Matthews, via trade}, Martin Fischer {no assigned SIT}, Rachel Lee {Chanterelle}, and Clive Williamson {Buffy Summers}. It was pointed out that adult to middle-aged men approaching teenaged girls would be a tricky process fraught with potential for misunderstaning, probable violence, and an imminent visit from Chris Hansen of Dateline NBC.
A very caffeinated Tamara DeMarco pestered Tony DeMarco while he was trying to write.
Reba Lee, Rachel Lee's daughter, met Nica Marchese and Anna Caruso in the unofficial smoking area outside Sunnydale High. They discussed haunted houses, Hot Topic, Sunnydale Mall, and other terrifying places.
Michael Czajak spoke at length with TJ Matthews, expressing his perplexity that jocks weren't habitualy beating the crap out of him this year.
Juice Davis, Ashton Kowalski, Brody Callahan, and Mandy Smith had lunch together in the Sunnydale High cafeteria. Kit Bothwell was also present. Ash mentioned Dawn Summers and his budding relationship with her. Juice discussed past homophobia around the high school.
Dawn Summers squeed about her impending first date with Ashton Kowalski to her sister, Buffy Summers. Clothes were picked out and brasierres discussed.
Ashton Kowalski and Dawn Summers had their first date at the Bronze. There were awkward moments, but they both had fun and the date ended on a positive note.
Marcus Orion had a dream about magic, and discussed it with Remi Hunter while not quite having sex with her in his bed.
Andrew Wells hesitantly offered to tutor Meredith Delany in math, and she accepted.
Ming Xi and Michael Czajak went to the Sunnydale High library and Ming obtained ESL books from Giles, who spoke in halting Mandarin with her.
Juice traded a “Do You Like Me” note with Brody with affirmative results.
Tamara DeMarco met Spike at Sid's Diner to discuss poetry and drink coffee. Tamara's overprotective brother Tony came along to ensure that Spike didn't intend to use Tamara like a kindergartener would use a juice box. Spike had not revealed his vampiric nature to Tamara, yet.
Meredith Delany, TJ Matthews and Buffy Summers hung out at the beach and caught up on each other's lives.
TJ sneaked home one night and got punched by her mom. Had she been sober, her SIT training might have helped.
Andrew Wells and Dawn Summers caught up on each other's lives at Sid's Diner and the Magic Box, and discussed misfits getting beaten up in the past.
Juice Davis talked to TJ Matthews about a great double-date he and Brody had gone on with Michael Chajak and Ming Xi. TJ talked about her illicit business of supplying homework and fake IDs to felow Sunnydale High students. Juice wanted to help her with business, but she opted to keep him out of trouble.
Remi Hunter, Savvy Brown, Tara Maclay, Michael Czajak, and Marcus Orion met at the Magic Box, figured out that each other was into magic, and discussed spellcraft. Surprisingly, Remi and Marcus didn't nearly have sex.
Vito Marchese, Anna Caruso, Kit Bothwell, Juice Davis, Michael Czajak, Carmen Garcia, a UC Sunnydale student, and Nick Browning, a doctor who wouldn't shut up about the fact that he was a doctor, were at the Bronze. Carmen managed to ditch Nick and got to know the others at the club.
MJ Carver and Morrigan O'Grady broke up. Then they watched a movie together, had lots of sex, and decided to put off breaking up for another night. And had more sex.
Jordy Oswald and TJ Matthews hung out together and made plans to do so again in the future.
Mandy, TJ, Nica, Vito, Brody, MJ hung out at the Bronze. TJ hit on Nica, but things were just taking of with Mandy, so she declined. TJ also hit on Anna, who also declined. Then she drew on her foot. MJ and Vito discussed Potentials and female trouble. It was pointed out that Anna was staying with the Marcheses because the power and water had been shut off at her aunt Connie's place.
Mandy, Nica, Anna, Tamara, Clive,Ming, Michael, Spike,Dawn, Buffy, MJ, and Tara hung out at the Bronze. Anna rifled through Mandy's purse and stole cosmetics. Clive hit on Buffy, and was rebuffed mercilessly. Tamara and Spike talked poetry. Morrigan and MJ talked about movies and pizza. MJ nearly told Morrigan what Special GYm was all about, but in the end, didn't say.
