The Poketch is a wrist-mounted device that operates much as a modern smartphone, complete with a Rotom-powered AI functionality, the ability to make calls, install apps, and track important things in the lives of its citizens. Most non-Trainer people use Poketch 4s (the previous iteration) with less extensive Pokemon-based functionalities and more public-entertainment functionality.
Digital Watch: A standard digital watch display, synchronized against the Chronos Tower, keeper of international time in Kyrael. Also includes timer, stopwatch, and alarm applets.
Calculator: A standard calculator.
Memo Pad: A text notepad that lets you write down notes about things of importance.
Pedometer: Keeps count of the number of steps travelled, and automatically counts steps. Can be reset at any time.
Team Check: Interfaces with your PokeBelt to check the status of your Pokemon, including their health, status, and equipment.
Friendcheck: Gives a rough indicator of the loyalty of the Pokemon being surveyed.
Dowsing Machine: Helps you find useful items in the environment.
Berry Searcher: Helps you find Berries in the environment.
Move Tester: Shows how effective standard moves are by type (!!! = regularly effective, !! = 1/2 effective, ! = 1/4 effective, x = ineffective, !!!! = 2x effective, !!!!! = 4x effective.
Calendar: A calendar that lets you track dates and schedule events.
NetDiag: Network diagnostics, showing number of players in range in various locations.
Camera: A standard front-back camera system allowing for selfies or flash photography.
Flashlight: A bright flashlight that illuminates dark areas.
PCU Access: Access a Pokemon Containment Unit / PokeBelt for Pokemon management purposes.
PokeDex: Connects to the National PokeDex and acknowledges a Trainer's progress in seeing and catching them all, as well as providing vital statistics and information about newly encountered Pokemon (through the PokeScan app).
PokeScan: Allows you to scan an unfamiliar Pokemon to identify them using data downloaded from the National PokeDex.
