All character sheets posted here currently use the CharLoft RPG system, which is a variant Unisystem Lite game system based around six stats, a handful of skills, and a d10. It's relatively easy to pick up and use, and is the system currently used for Loftian adventures.
This section is for regular and recent patrons of the Loft - those who spend money and keep the wheels of commerce turning in this pocket dimension.
The poor souls that work the counters and crevices of the Char Loft are a diverse lot of misfits and miscreants. Ever wonder what stats they have? Well, now you can have a peek…
In order to keep pace with a hectic 32-hour-a-day schedule, the Char Loft has a variety of staff members who keep the place running with a minimum of fuss. Of course, if nobody feels like munning a barista and someone needs some level of interaction, there's always Mr. Barista, your cold and emotionless robotic servant, or Ms. Tikal, the silent and invisible bartender…
Of course, you need more if you want to keep a thriving omnidimensional enterprise running smoothly than just good drink slingers. That's where the operations staff come in - those little people who are ready to bust some heads or plunge some toilets.
So you don't want to sort out this whole 'getting a sheet ready' thing. Or maybe you were just in a hurry and left it in a bus stop in Duarte. Anyhow, the point is you need a balanced sheet quick, because the party is leaving. Well, here's the solution - loaner sheets, prepared with loving care, balanced for every character power level. Of course, any of these sheets could also come in handy for a GM looking for some NPCs on the fly.
Of course, it wouldn't be fair to leave our GMs out of the fun. You say you want to come up with some NPCs on the fly, but you don't have time for preparation? You announced your next big adventure idea, and people want to go now? You left your game notes in your other flash drive? Well, we've got you covered. Below is a list of some 'standard' monsters that you can make use of the next time you think your players need a surprise.
This is for characters who have not been used recently, although the player may still be active with another character. Don't want your character listed here? No sweat – just take them on an adventure, and they'll bump back up into active!
This is for characters who serve an NPC function on adventures, who show up occasionally as background for another character's world, and so forth.
Content in the Archives is likely to be moved unexpectedly to other locations. You've been warned!
All character sheets here use the GURPS roleplaying system, which we are playtesting as a possible game system for future Loftian adventures.
