Background Summary

Several hours after Libby was born, her Grandparents were called to the hospital to pick her up. Her mother left in the middle of the night and was nowhere to be found.

Libby was a happy little girl, and lived with her Grandparents until her Father returned from the war. She soon lived with her parents, and grew up like almost any other girl. Except that her Mother obviously didn't want to be there, and her Father was a little shell shocked from the war. She still grew up mostly happy, and she became fairly popular in school.

Before the zombie invasion she only worried if her Father was going to let her go to a school dance, without embarrassing her. She tried her hardest to avoid the problems that her parents were having, and the scandal that she was sure her Mother would cause.

All of that ended when she watched as her Mother was bitten by a zombie. Instead of daydreaming over boys, her Father had her helping to secure the house, and taught her to use a rifle. She had to inventory the food storage, and help with other tasks. She is trying to talk him out of digging trenches in the yard. She's even helped her father loot a few houses, or distract someone while he snatched something that they needed.

Mindset

When Libby was a little girl, her Father told her about Claire Allen, a female architect. Since that day, Libby has wanted to design buildings. Her Mother tried talking her out of it but Johnny was always supportive. She reads up on it when she isn't trying to be an All American teen.

Nazis, commies, and all of the other social quirks of the 50's were just something adults talked about, according to Libby. None of those really touched her world until the zombie invasion. Now she is worried about commies, but only because communist zombies are loose in her town. She could care less about sexuality or social status.

Quirks

Libby is friendly, but has a but of an honesty problem with those she doesn't particularly care about. She also will con classmates out of various things, even though her Father spoiled her rotten. She was raised to stop at nothing to get what she wants.

She loves to draw houses and building plans. At the insistence of her Father, she's drawn numerous pictures of the town.

Libby is still a teen, even if she does try to act like she's twenty five. She wants a family, and as much normalcy as possible. She wants a group of friends, and to go to the prom and parking with a cute boy. Sometimes this is more obvious than others.

Her father has taught her to do criminal things.

Housing

Libby lives with her father in the historical district.
