The Gas and Go is a quiet gas station at the north end of the main street where travellers can pull in to refuel their tanks and get directions to their next destination. The gas pumps only supply gasoline, but savvy travellers will note through careful questioning that many other types of fuel are available if they are willing to pay – whether it's spare batteries, electrical power hookups, water, fuel cells, hydrogen tanks, propane tanks, uranium cores, micrograins of antimatter, or other esoteric sources – although they may not necessarily be available in great quantities, and the Gas and Go only accepts dollars or emps.
In addition to fuel supplies, the Gas and Go also operates a convenience store, which sells conveniences, necessities, and groceries at typically inflated rates. They also sell maps - some to distinctly peculiar locations - and will provide directions to literally anywhere free of charge (though only to paying customers - typically, to anyone who fills up their tank.)
