Tamara Nightblade: Lady of Rosa Noir before its eradication, working with her family and friends to restore it and fight against the Church that tried to erase them from history.
Daniel Nightblade: Lord of Rosa Noir, he was abducted and made to serve the Church as Danae the Inquisitor for hundreds of years. His memories removed (partly by his own volition), he works to rebuild his land and fight the Church. Son of Janus Nevegaro.
Dani Nightblade: Child from another timeline, here to fight by her parents' side.
Isis Gable: Child from another timeline, here to fight by her parents' side.
Rianna: Isis's childhood guardian, who still does her best to look after her and her friends.
Joanna Barker: Child from another timeline, accompanying her friends into the past.
Peep: An adolescent carnifern who is Joanna's companion and friend.
Alice Legarro: Daughter of Kieran and Randi Legarro from another time, a skilled chef and alchemist.
Darryl Legarro: Son of Kieran and Randi Legarro from another time, a skilled rogue and alchemist.
Amber Lancaster: Eddie's wife, and assistant in the machine shop he had been operating.

Rick: An owl-like humanoid merchant who calls himself an Avyan, and who seems to have a variety of supplies from all over the planet, and then some.
Damon: A half-demon who is glad to have escaped from Miloch to Rosa Noir and is putting his medical knowledge to work to assist the kingdom.
Oswald: A magical being that appears human and apparently is the resident bartender of the Inn. Restored to life during the recent resurrections.

Octavian Grenadine: Captain of the envoys sent to Rosa Noir to assist in their rebuilding and land-clearing efforts.
Manuel: A mechanically inclined soldier of Grenadine who is currently working to assist doctor Damon.

Prince Leopold: Heir to the throne of Avalon, has an honor guard of forty knights who escaped a horrible fate at the hands of the Church.
Sandra: Captain of Leopold's honor guard.
Lance: One of Prince Leopold's honor guard. Secretly gay.
Wynne: One of Prince Leopold's honor guard, fiercely loyal in combat but shy in person.

Kieran Blakemoor: God of lucky breaks, and a well-rounded traveler besides.
Eddie Lancaster: Also known as the Mechanist, the god of machinery. Recovering after being incapacitated and abducted by a Church strike team.
Mekista Tinkerfingers: Technically, a small piece of her soul gathered from fragments left behind and forcibly taken back from Templars.
