Everyone who's had to be on a long stakeout knows that the traditional meal of choice is a large cup of coffee and a sack of a dozen donuts. Captain Donut tends to be the place to go for those who aren't fond of the overly marketed corporate atmosphere of its competitors; it has a bit of cheesy 21st century charm going for it, and the old joke about finding police at a donut shop isn't THAT far off the mark, so if you need help from the law in a hurry, Captain Donut isn't the worst place to stop.
