**Job Type:** Research

You have been assigned to the Chemistry 

department of Maxwell #13-(designator); 

congratulations! You are responsible for 

synthesizing chemical compounds as needed for 

the crew from available materials and elements, 

and for discovering new chemicals that can be 

utilized for the benefit of your fellow 

crewmates. You will find your services valuable 

to the Medical staff (as you can create potent 

medicines that they can prescribe to their 

patients in pill form or use in injectors or 

droppers for emergency treatments) and the 

Hydroponics crew (who may need chemical 

assistance to develop better crops). 

**Access:** Chemistry, Research Sector, Medical 

Bay.

As a vital link in the resupply-by-synthesis 

process, you will have your work cut out for 

you - make good use of available resources, and 

whatever else you can find aboard the station, 

to fulfill your job responsibilities. People 

are counting on you to produce what they need! 

You are also responsible for keeping those who 

have no business playing with dangerous 

chemicals out; Assistants do not need to be 

using the valuable equipment to make their 

little smoke bombs when there's medicines to be 

developed.

**Responsibility:** Synthesize Chemicals

You are responsible for manufacturing beakers 

of chemicals and putting them into storage 

canisters for transfer, manufacturing pills to 

load into pill bottles, labelling your 

concoctions, and distributing them where 

needed. You are also expected to keep others 

from doing so for nefarious purposes. As such, 

a good relationship with Security is as 

important as your support of Hydroponics and 

Medical.
