The big players in Eioan society are generally the major corporations and their management, and the administration of Eio and their state department.

===== The Administration =====

Eio is governed by an administrative committee led by an individual known only as the Administrator, with each of the major and minor corporations of Eio having at least one seat in the Committee, along with at least one civilian-elected City Administrator from each of the major cities. Minor cities do not have a direct vote in Committee affairs, and thus often petition their neighbors to bring matters to the Administration's attention.

===== Corporate Entities =====

The various corporations that produce the products and services necessary for everyday life hold a significant amount of power, although most corporations have at least one major corporate competitor and a number of lesser competitors in order to prevent a single corporation from being able to shut down the country should they choose to go rogue.
