**Brief History:**
Emil Gregory was born to a life of privilege and old money. His parents were inheritors of robber baron fortunes, and were distant at best when it came to parenting. Though Emil has a sizable trust, he prefers to make his own way and doesn't touch it save for very important things. Emil has always been studious, and has a great interest in philosophy. He joined the peace corps for a while- and while in South America fell ill. He thought he had malaria - but it turned out he was bitten by a lychanthropic roach. Now every full moon, he turns into a giant wereroach. 

He was mostly unaware of this fact, and continued on with his studies - presenting a thesis that he hoped to publish on the nature of man and monster. It was rejected, and he was drummed out of school - which made him angry enough that he roached out and started terrorizing the town. He fought with the Slayer at the Bronze, but Xavier Welch saved his life and calmed him down. He went to live with Xavier, and study the ways of the Chumash. He is trying to get in control of his inner beast, and lead a good life.

He is currently an assistant teacher at Sunnydale high, and is looking to get his teaching certification to teach philosophy to the high schoolers.
