 North by Northwest? Oh...that one. Presumed asexual. Kept his vow of celibacy throughout his priesthood. Now...he hasn't really thought about it.

 5'8, lean, dark hair green eyes. Prosthetic hand on left that he has designed to have some special features. Wears jeans, heavy leather jacket, black or dark clothes. Kept his priest robes. Kind, patient, gives everyone a chance. Likes to tinker with things. Has faith but doesn't push it on others. Is reluctant to talk about the visions until he knows someone well.

Visions (uncontrolled, come with stigmata- will incapacitate him), creation of holy water and oil, deliverance of sacraments, blessing of weapons, tinkering and engineering hobbyist.

Umbral Whisper: Every so often from now on, the shadows of candlelight will have something to say to the priest. Is this a good thing?

 Holds the deed to the land that Our Lady of Sorrows, an abandoned Catholic Church, sits on. It is his life's work and mission to tend to the cemetery their, and see about fixing up the church itself as a place of sanctuary.

Likes: Tinkering with things, jazz/big band era music, helping others, being open minded, gardening

Dislikes: black and white thinking, killing anything, the pain that comes with visions, Lima beans


===== Background: =====
Raised in a traditional Irish Catholic family, he was a second son bound for the seminary. Billy had his doubts about the existence of a higher power, let alone the effectiveness of sacraments until his first vision.

When vampires became public knowledge, the Pope proclaimed that they were inherently evil, damned souls in league with the the devil.

Father Bill didn't believe in empirical evil, and joined a group of heretic priests who wanted to try and broker peace between vampires and humans, treating every vampire as an individual with the capability of free will and choice to do good or evil.

The heretic sect was told to conform, or be excommunicated from the church. Many members caved and began towing the party line. Father Bill refused, and was subsequently excommunicated. A vision led him to Lake Harmony, where he was able to buy Our Lady of Sorrows for a surprisingly reasonable price. He has resided there, and done good works around town, ever since.

That his powers to bless and perform sacraments, and his vision still remain he sees as proof of a higher power, one that does not consider the church an ultimate authority. He believes in helping all, no matter what their species.

Though he doesn't like to fight, he will protect himself and others. He is working on a sun lamp, a bulls-eye lantern that harnesses the light of the sun to shine into a single beam to incapacitate a vampire. Has a blessed rosary strung on industrial grade silk that can be used as a choke rope, holy water, taser. Will not kill an opponent but will incapacitate one and let god sort it out. His weapon of choice is his aspergillium (holy water sprinkling mace).
