Magick. The Black Arts. Mystical texts from forbidden tomes of knowledge. Even in the enlightened age of 2155, there are still believers in true Magick as an entity apart from psionics, and there may be some truth to these beliefs. Not every occurrence of mystical capability can be explained scientifically, after all, and some people claim to have powers gifted to them by the spirits, or from study of ancient rites that tap into a primal source of environmental power.
