The queendom of Arinthal is currently a country ruled by an elven lineage, the Ambroses; current ruler is 415-year-old Margoreth, who ascended to the throne roughly 150 years ago after the assassination death of her older sister. Arinthal is matriarchal and prefers experience in its leaders, which is unfortunate for Princess Mellicent Ambrose, King Richard Ambrose, or any other children waiting for their mothers and fathers to perish. The population is mixed, with humans, elves, dwarves, and gnomes the most commonly notable races.

Arinthal is the home of the legendary Academy of Glories, where young adventurers are trained and prepared for a life of adventure and danger. Graduates from the Academy often find prestigious roles in society or the military.
