The Aurora Crystal Frontier is a D&D world set in a time period where the Industrial Revolution has taken hold in an otherwise magical realm. Science marches on, and magic is just another principle of the world to be understood, documented, and controlled. The nations of the world are seeking to colonize a new continent, and the frontiers are rapidly expanding due to the discovery of a potent magical resource in the Frontierlands. Native people are less than thrilled with this expansionism, as some countries want to work with them, others want to enslave them under the guise of civilizing them, and others just want to enslave or exterminate them to make way for their own glorious ambitions.
