===== Background Summary =====

Lynn was born to the young widow, Janie Potts.  She was told that her father died in WW2.

She has lived her entire life with her mother, Janie Potts, and her mother's employer.  From the time she was born, Phillip(her mother's employer), has made sure that Lynn's each and every need was met.  He dotes on her and always has a few packages for the girl when he comes home.

She is very protective of her Mother, and at times, that leads to her being at odds with Phillip.

Lynn has tried her hardest to pass for white, but is rarely successful since everyone knows who her mother is.  She still tries, however, and wants to be a cheerleader.

Many of the friends she makes are 'the wrong type' and Lynn has picked up crime related skills from them.  She gets in trouble at school frequently, and likes watching most of her classmates fail.

Her best friends are Nica and Georgio.  The two of them accept Lynn for who she is, and don't care about her racial background.  

===== Mindset =====

Lynn wants to be treated like any other teenager (especially white teenagers), and feels like she has to prove it.  She tries too hard to get acceptance from her peers, then will get angry if they don't see things her way.

She thinks that having a letter jacket will make her 'popular' and lead to everyone accepting her for who she is.

Her mother is pushing her to go to college, but Lynn secretly wants to go to Paris with friends and become an artist.  She's currently trying to convince her mother to take her and her friends on a trip to New York in the near future.  There is always some scheme in the back of her mind.

The only authority figure that truly matters is her Mother.

===== Quirks =====

Lynn has a mean streak that is easily apparent.  She is always pranking people.  She is very, very clingy and over protective of her friends.

Lynn makes up fantastic stories to describe her life, which no one ever believes.  She knows that however, and will sometimes use that to cover up the truth, or get away with lying.

Lynn strives hard for acceptance, and hides the pain of rejection with cruelty.

She will try to pass for white whenever she is around someone she hasn't met before, but not at the expense of her mother.

===== NPC Relationships =====

Phillip Kellar, her mother's employer, and secretly her father.  Lynn and Phillip get along well, as he's always wanted a daughter.  Behind closed doors he is a doting father and does whatever he can to make her life easier.  In public, they barely acknowledge each other.

Susie Quentin is Lynn's mortal enemy in High School.  She is a strawberry blond with green eyes, and a sweater girl.  She is everything that Lynn wants to be.  Susie does not like Lynn because 'accidents' seem to happen quite frequently, and more than one sweater has been ruined because Lynn's spilled ink on it.  In elementary school, Lynn dipped Susie's hair in ink because she hadn't been invited to a birthday party.
