==== Background Summary ====

While technically, 'Alexander Wolf' is not his real name, the man who now calls himself such was formerly an Army Ranger operating in the Middle Eastern theater. Unfortunately, a routine training exercise resulted in an encounter with a Thing Man Was Not Meant To Know that had been terrorizing an isolated village. He and his crew handled the situation with only two casualties, but the official report was stricken from the record and the squadron was disbanded shortly afterwards. 

One week after returning to the United States, he received a phone call from a woman named Amber, who wanted to meet with him in New York. He thought it was a reporter. It turned out to be a job offer, working for PAA as an operative, under a new identity. His persuasive nature and general calm toughness eventually put him in a position to be responsible for a 'hazard asset' -- specifically, Michael Malone, a young adult with high supernatural target potential and a capacity for firestarting. Thus far, he has been able to manage his charge and keep him focused on their primary objective of researching and negating supernatural hostiles where necessary.

'Wolf', as he is often called, is a large, muscular man who is familiar with heavy firepower and flexible in his approach to situations. He is equally at home wearing a suit and tie at a gala luncheon or trading blows with a biker at a roadside bar, and he is always focused on the mission.
