====== About the Staff: The Others ======

Although they are seldom acknowledged, there are others that work at the CharLoft. These include:

  * The Maintenance Man. Apparent age: 35. Vaguely Italian descent. Does not speak much; simply goes about his work and cleans up messes of any sort without complaint. Usually carries around only what is needed for the present job, and is usually called out to handle specific problems (such as blood on the couch), or to install equipment. Wears a dingy spicy-mustard-yellow set of coveralls, and almost invariably has a wrench in hand.

  * The Kitchen Crew. Although nobody has ever actually seen a member of the kitchen crew, they do exist; occasionally a barista will call on one of them to handle a special order. Their names are Morton, Pepe, and Ramon, if the baristas are to be believed.

  * The Assistant Manager. Apparent age: 30. A woman in a long black dress, with slightly curly black hair and a generally exasperated expression, seen on a couple of occasions tending to personnel-related problems. Little else is known.


Others may work at the cafe, but have not been seen yet...
