====== About the Staff: The Boss ====== The Boss of the CharLoft is, to all appearances, a slight and unassuming figure -- barely 5'8", and always seen wearing a black suit, with a white undershirt and a blood-red tie. He has well-groomed black hair, pitch-black eyes, and looks like he could be in his late twenties to early thirties. The staff has a healthy fear of him, because it is by his will that the CharLoft exists - and that people remain there unmolested. While it is unclear what his true nature is, he does seem inclined to make deals with people that often end up with unforeseen consequences - including very-long-term employment. He doesn't seem directly malevolent, however, and doesn't generally go out of his way to make life miserable for his customers or employees. His contracts are always clear and concise, written so that the intent of the contract is all-important and so that the signer gets what he asks for and usually still gets what he wants. Still, his employees are very cautious not to do anything that would incur his wrath, as he supposedly is much less polite to his enemies. He is presumed to be some sort of major demonic or deitific entity, an assumption based on his abilities to shape time and space, create and manage multiple pocket dimensional spaces, and to throw those who displease him into the Void temporarily or permanently. His sense of humor is very dry, and he has little patience for idle stupidity. Notably, none of the staff in the CharLoft ever refers to the Boss by a name, although it is implied that he has at least one.
