  * Amy Edgecross: Guardian of Rosa Noir, captured while fighting to protect Tamara from a similar fate, one thousand years in the past. Presumed to be suffering an eternally horrible fate at the hands of Coventry.
  * Matthew Holcombe: A wanderkin with the blessings of the phoenix who has been a friend of Rosa Noir since its very beginning. Apparently held captive in Graverest for an undetermined amount of time.
  * Katarin Nevegaro: Daughter of Daniel and Tillie Nevegaro in a previous timeline. Current location unknown, unknown if she will appear in Daniel's future lineage.
  * Daron Nevegaro: Son of Daniel and Tillie Nevegaro in a previous line. Suspected to be Tamara's current child.

  * Darkstorm Tennet: A citizen of Rosa Noir whose family died during retributive invasions by the Church after their resistance, a supposed descendant of the original Darkstorm Tennet and Alex Legarro.
  * Brigitte Garrett: A mage knight who had been studying magic illegally in the Reach; her school was taken and punished with enslavement, with the virginal such as Brigitte being saved for a Templar party.
  * Lady Allison: A regal high elf with long black hair who purchased Katie from slavery and set her on the path to becoming a Shadow. Was kidnapped from Granite Falls and made Tranquil by the Church.
  * Leon Calavante: A former Shadow turned freelance assassin for the Church after the enslavement of his mother and sister, eventually reformed.
  * Ferrel Calavante: An assassin for the Church after the enslavement of his mother and sister, who was all too happy to join the heroes' side once the leupak egg implanted in him as a failsafe against his resistance was removed.
  * Tomiko: A bioroid from Earth who was sold to a cab company after her service contract with an office building expired, and who had accompanied Harris and Henry back to Arcydea. Was training to become a Shadow and develop a free personality, but was expected to die within a matter of months or years.
  * Alice Thompson: Randall's mother, who lived a life of abject poverty after her son's enslavement.
  * Tika: One of the Knights of Grenadine, enjoys drinking games and tests of strength, casual flirt.
  * Chandra Malcovy: Sixteen-year-old would-be hero and descendent of the Malcovy line. Was seeing castle knight Frederick and helping him recover after demonic possession.
  * Petra Rejavik: Knight of the Black Rose with Nordic ancestry who was returned to life after the Thousand Years' Death.
  * Miriam Massindrellas: Keeper of the Word and Champion of Theo, daughter of the Master of Hallevince.
  * Lina Bennett: A doctor of psychology and psionicism, helping aid the mental disorders of citizens.

  * Laethe: A Speaker for the Matron of Krytar, Jarillia, who often acts as her representative when meeting with outsiders.
  * Jarillia: This dark elf demigod has been known for centuries as the Demon Witch, and has been trying to protect her people from extermination and enslavement by the Church. They have recently formed an alliance with Avalon defectors who are hoping to drive the Church out of their lands.

  * Cassandra Swift. An elven intermediary who has been meeting with agents of Rosa Noir to discuss a possible peace treaty with Hallevince directly. So far, it hasn't gotten very far -- which is troubling, because Hallevince was set to be invaded in the previous timeline.

  * Nyx, The Corruptor. Currently masquerading as Arc via the Church of the Traveler in order to garner worship and power.
  * Janus Nevegaro. Grand Master of the Church of the Traveler, and 
  * Merinthos, Master of Halfmoon. Elyssa's tutor, and had been keeping Michael as a Tranquil oracle to gather predictions for the future. Blasted by Kieran during their removal, status unknown.
