First Paladin and Champion of Sehncia the Guide, Lieutenant Commander of the Knights of the Black Rose, The Knight in Violet.

Aspen is a young human woman with chocolate brown hair, pale skin, and a generous smattering of freckles. She wears clothes in muted greens and purples, preferring to pair loose tunics with her steel breastplate and leather pauldrons, and a violet greatcloak. When the need arises, she does have a set of full plate, handcrafted by Malone’s Lost and Foundry smithy. She wears a druidcrafted charm around her neck as her focus, those well versed in Arcydea's recent religious history may recognize it as an older symbol of Sehncia. These days, she is almost never seen without her companion, a fennec fox named Wicker, nearby.

Loyal, modest, kind, and gentle, Aspen always has a smile. She is often found with tea and a guitar at the table closest to the door of the Black Rose Inn, or overseeing patrols and training with the Malone Guard.

As a volunteer, knight, and eventually lieutenant commander, Aspen was present for numerous events during the Wanderer’s Rebellion including the attack on Malone’s Fall Festival, the Battle of Silathra during the Night of the Blue Moon, the Siege of Jesterfield, and the Assassination of Janus Nevgaro. She reports directly to Commander Amy and oversees new recruits to the guard. 

Around the same time, she made frequent trips to nearby lands through the mirror, and assisted in the Liberation of the Land of Tales. She was made the Knight in Violet during the joust against the Golden Knights, and joined in a a multitude of small incursions to destabilize the tyrannical leadership in the region. When the time came to carry out the coup on the false king, she stood beside the true Queen Cassandra, and nearly lost her life in her defense. She later returned in battles against the Queen of Knight, and the red dragon terrorizing the Hearthwood Forest of the Orun Kingdom to the north.
