This compact generator uses metallic hydrogen (tritium) to create a controlled fusion reaction that generates power. It is designed to accept sheets of tritium, and outputs gaseous helium as a waste product of its activity. This is a highly efficient design, and while it causes some atmospheric problems, it is a very safe generator in use compared to other available solutions.
