It is wise to announce your presence at the beginning of the shift, so that people know who you are when you ask for an interview. You may need to request a Press Pass from the department heads before venturing into their territory, but they should grant it to you more readily as, in the end, you are a representative of NovusCorp's interests. Expect conflicts with the Journalist, who uses the same printing press and has their own Newscaster channel to contradict yours when necessary. Bare minimum requirements: Find interesting stories. Publish your version of the truth, usually colored to favor the company. Don't get in the crew's way. ==== Tips ==== * Journalism is all about getting the hottest stories and may involve being in the middle of the action. First, get a press pass from the appropriate department. Then, if you are going into active danger, acquire proper protective gear as necessary. * Your printing press allows you to print out your stories en masse, and gives you access to a special Newscaster channel. It occasionally runs out of ink or paper, requiring you to request toner cartridges or reams of paper. You should begin with both available in the Press Room. ==== Traitor ==== Corporate Reporter Traitor is a mixed bag. On the positive side, you should be able to access any area of the ship if you can spin a good story about the news coverage you intend to submit; also, nobody will really bat an eye at your presence once you're there. On the other hand, you're fairly recognizable and don't quite fit in as a member of the crew, so suspicion will grow more quickly
