====== Pre-Order Dice Rally ====== {{::dicerally.png?nolink&400 |}} **How does this work?** Basically, this allows us to bring new colors in for people, at prices that are far more affordable than those seen elsewhere, and add them to our existing lineup, by using the power of a purchasing cooperative of gamers to raise the funds needed for minimum orders. While we are considering the merits of a Kickstarter to boost our business at some point, this is our attempt to get new and exciting colors into the hands of more gamers at significantly more affordable prices. Here's how this works: \\ \\ \\ * 1) You cast your vote for particular colors or items by adding it to your cart and paying for the sum total. * 2) When any item reaches the minimum number of votes, we order the item and bring it in house; this is generally consistent with the amount of that item needed to meet a minimum order quantity. As soon as we receive the ordered dice, we then prepare to ship: * 2A) If you are a Patreon, your dice are shipped to you free of charge along with your next monthly package once they arrive. * 2B) If you are not a Patreon, we will send a shipping invoice to you for the number of dice sets presently on hold. This invoice will be for $3 for four sets or less or $4 for larger orders; for international customers, $15 regardless of number of sets. * 3) If you prefer, we can hold your dice until other dice sets reach the point of ordering, so you can save on shipping costs and ship them together. \\ \\ ==== Pricing ==== Our dice sets are arranged into specific pricing bands -- colors that cost $3, often known as our Standard colors; colors that cost $5, often known as our Specialty colors; and layered and other fanciful colors that cost $7 and up, which we will refer to as our Premium colors. We also have a section for Assorted Dice that don't fit neatly into any of our usual price bands, and a section for Other Items for things like miniatures that we would also like to add to our lineup. ==== Goals ==== Like any good fundraiser, for each Dice Rally we have goals. Our basic goal is to meet the Minimum Order Quantity for an item; this allows us to order the item in sufficient quantity to stock it and to ship to those who requested it. Most dice have a Votes to Ship of 10; some premium dice and other items may be higher. Each item lists the number of votes to ship in its details. ==== Exchange for Credit ==== At any time, you can exchange votes already cast in the Dice Rally for store credit on other items from Roll 4 It Dice; just message us with what you would prefer to put it towards and we will gladly work things out. ===== View Your Selections ===== We are using Paypal Shopping Cart to best organize votes so that people can pay in one package for the dice they want to see shipped: ===== Standard Dice ===== Some of these dice are currently in the Specialty band, but by improving our order capability, we can lower the price!
